U-PIC Shipping Insurance Announces UK Licensing to Support UK-Domiciled Shippers and Platform Partners
Los Angeles, CA - December 19, 2025 - U-PIC Shipping Insurance announced it has obtained its required licensing in the United Kingdom, expanding its ability to insure UK-domiciled businesses and support their domestic and cross-border parcel operations.
With UK licensing in place, U-PIC can now support UK-based merchants, logistics providers, and technology platforms seeking a compliant, scalable parcel insurance solution for shipments that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit.
U-PIC's UK program is underwritten at Lloyd's through Chaucer, via Lonham. Chaucer is a leading specialty (re)insurance group and a member of the China Re Group, which is rated A (Excellent) by AM Best and A (Strong) by S&P Global Ratings.
